Bodegas Alceno werd reeds opgericht in 1870 en werd de aller eerste commerciële wijngaard in de Jumilla regio. De wijngaarden bevinden zich op een hoogte van om en bij de 700meter en de bodem bestaat uit kalk en stenen.
